G. BALDWIN, aged 89 years, 2 months
- and 12 days.
- He was united in marriage in 1827 to
Miss Nancy COLT, in Otselic, N.Y. They
- lived together in the marriage state
66 years, 9 months and 28 days. They came to Milton to reside
50 years ago. Mr. BALDWIN's family connections were
of a high order; a Vermonter by birth, his father was a deacon
in the Baptist church and his older brother a Baptist minister.
He was a superior mechanic, honest and reliable in all the
relations of life. He experienced religion in early life, and
at his death was a member in good standing of the Seventh-day
Baptist Church of Milton. His companion survives him. The
funeral services were conducted by his pastor, assisted by President
