- Edna May SUNBY was born in Milton January 21, 1903,
to Mr. and Mrs. Lewis
- SUNBY, and passed away on Monday, June 27, at 7 a.m.
at her home in Milton.
- She attended grade school and high school graduating from
the latter institution in
- 1920, after which she attended Milton College for about three
years, also teaching Latin a part of the time while in college.
- On June 30, 1923, she was united in marriage to Walter W.
HOLLIDAY. She was
- a member of the Milton Methodist Church, and had served as
Sunday School teacher, organist, was a member of the choir, and
active in all church work.
- Besides the bereaved husband, she leaves to mourn her loss,
her parents; two sisters,
- Mrs. Harold BOEHM, and Miss Clara; and three brothers,
Carl, Alfred and Lewis, all of Milton, besides a host of friends.
- The funeral was, owing to the nature of her illness, held
at the Milton Cemetery, the
- house being in quarantine, and was conducted by the pastor
of the deceased, Rev. Anton HATLESTAD, assisted by Rev.
Sheard of Pewaukee, a former pastor, and Rev. M.A. Drew. Mr.
and Mrs. S. S. SUMMERS sang "Abide with Me".
