EVANSVILLE/MCFARLAND - Robert Albert LAWRENZ, loving father, son and husband departed from our lives on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005, at St. Marys Hospital.
He was born March 26, 1941, in the Town of Center, the only child of Raymond Alvin and Anna
Mae (ROWALD) LAWRENZ. He was married to Barbara ROBINSON and they had three children, Teresa, LeAnn and Kathryn. He later married Barbara COLE, who preceded him in death. He married Dagmar LACLAVOVA on Dec. 23, 1992, and they have enjoyed 13 years together.
Bob had been a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and active on their church council for a
number of years. He was a current member of Magnolia Advent Christian Church. He was a Magnolia 4-H leader, served on the Rock County 4-H Fair Board, was a member of Rock County Beef Producers and on their board, a lifetime member of the Evansville FFA Alumni and won their "Top Dog" Award, a member of Union Coop board of directors for six years and supervisor for the Town of Magnolia. Bob was a farmer for most of his life and also a salesman for Funk Seed Corn, worked for City of Evansville, was an employee for De Jope Bingo Hall and owned and operated Red Barn/White Bar. He loved his family, good company, telling jokes, cooking and his lake house on Lake Waubesa.
Bob is survived by his wife, Dagmar of McFarland; his mother, Anna Mae LAWRENZ of
Evansville; his children, Teresa (Eric) JOHNSON of Evansville, LeAnn (Tim) PATON of Evansville, Kathryn (Pete) WILKE of Evansville, Lee Ann SCHLIEGER (fiance, Matt HALLA) of Evansville, Robby HURST of Janesville, Peter JURCO of Prague, Czech Republic, and Susan JURCO (fiance, Craig BRADLEY) of Chicago; grandchildren, Philip and Kathryn JOHNSON, Craig PATON, Claudia and Hannah WILKE, Rebekkah SCHLIEGER; aunts, Myrtle McCULLOUGH, Madelene ROWALD, Mary LAWRENZ and uncle, Glen LAWRENZ.
He was preceded in death by his father; and wife, Barbara COLE LAWRENZ.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, at 2 p.m. at MAGNOLIA ADVENT
CHRISTIAN CHURCH in Magnolia Township. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Evansville. Friends may call on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at WARD FUNERAL HOME, Evansville. Memorials may be made to Magnolia Advent Christian Church.

JANESVILLE - Nora STRANGEWAY, age 85, of Janesville, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005, at Mercy Hospital. She was the widow of Leo STRANGEWAY and formerly employed as a division manager for Sears.
Survivors include two brothers, John (Lois) O'CONNOR and Robert O'CONNOR; a
brother-in-law, Robert JOHNSON; nieces; nephews; and her beloved dog, Angel.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Ann NEESON, Nellie WOLF, Mary JOHNSON
and Edna ELLIS.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 3, 2005, at MILTON LAWNS
MEMORIAL PARK CHAPEL, 2200 Milton Ave., Janesville, with services at 2 p.m. on Monday in the chapel. Henke-Clarson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
