- Letha G. ELLIS, 80, of Janesville died Friday, Dec.
5, at Mercy Hospital.
- Private family services and burial will be held at Milton
Lawns Mausoleum.
- Letha was born April 15, 1923 in Whitewater to Gird and Neva
(RAYMER) LOCKMAN.
- Letha worked for the Rock County Health Care Center until
retired in 1990. She enjoyed sewing,
- cooking, reading, crossword puzzles and shopping with her
daughter. She was a devoted fan of the Chicago Cubs and Green
Bay Packers and enjoyed watching NASCAR on television.
- Survivors include, a daughter, Patricia (Richard) WYSS
of Janesville; one grandson, William
- (Jennifer) WYSS, two great-grandsons, Jeremy and Jake;
six sisters, Lurene ELLIS, Nekoosa, Darlene MEYERS,
Marshfield, Vanetta (Leland) KRUGER, Wisconsin Rapids,
Velma (William) SPARKS, Adams, Veda FISHER, Wisconsin
Rapids and Joyce (Robert) KEENLANCE, Nekoosa; four brothers,
Duane (Bonnie) LOCKMAN, Stevens Point, Don (Beverly) LOCKMAN,
Horicon, Bob (Karen) LOCKMAN, Wisconsin Rapids, Larry
(Mary) LOCKMAN, Sheboygan; special cousins, Fran MASKE,
Janesville, Evelyn KRAUSS, Milton, and Lillian WIEDENHOFT,
Whitewater; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
- She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Lural
LOCKMAN and her husband,
- Wayne E. ELLIS, who she married in 1940.
- Henke-Clarson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
