- Lucille Christina Laura (MEISSNER) WILSMANN
, 77, of 10931 Main St., Hewitt, died
- Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Saint Joseph's Hospital.
- A funeral service to celebrate her life will be at 11 a.m.
Wednesday at Immanuel Lutheran Church,
- Hewitt. The Rev. Dean Pingel will officiate. Sally BECKER
will provide music. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers
will be her grandchildren, Kelly (BALTUS) BRETT,
Benjamin BALTUS, Rachel WOLF, James BUDDINGER,
Rebecca and Zachary WILSMANN and Ryan and McKenzie WILSMANN.
- Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and an hour
prior to service, both at the church.
- Hansen Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
- Lucy was born Feb. 24, 1927, in the town of Rock to Ervin
and Margaret (KAAS)
- MEISSNER. She attended Janesville Settlement School.
On Sept. 11, 1948, she began her loving marriage of 57 years
to her husband, William "Bill" WILSMANN in Spencer.
- Lucy spent many years as a homemaker raising her children.
She then became the co-owner and
- manager of the Hewitt Lumber Yard, and after retiring, she
worked part-time at Draxler's Convenience Store in Hewitt.
- Lucy was an avid golfer and bowler, and has many trophies
to show her accomplishments. Her
- love of life was being surrounded by good friends and family.
She loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, along with creating
flower arrangements and crocheting afghans. Lucy truly loved
life and lived it to the fullest. She will truly be missed.
- Lucy is survived by her husband, William "Bill"
WILSMANN; three daughters, Patsy (Michael)
- BALTUS of Marshfield, Bonnie (Guy) WOLF of
Arizona and Wendy BUDDINGER of Marshfield; three sons,
Michael (Michaela) WILSMANN of Marshfield, Larry (Kari)
WILSMANN of Auburndale and David WILSMANN of Hewitt;
seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
- She is further survived by three brothers, Arnold (Viva)
MEISSNER of Mosinee, Hilbert
- (Marie) MEISSNER of Random Lake and Jerry MEISSNER
of Manitowoc; three sisters, Millie KACZOR of Neillsville,
Rosie (Melvin) ZSCHERNITZ of Marshfield and Lorraine STERNITZKY
of Fond du Lac.
